Chart Industries is a leading provider of cryogenic equipment and solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project engineering support for proposals and projects, assisting with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic analysis, equipment and line specifications, and preparing and evaluating bid packages.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project engineering support for proposals and projects, assisting with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic analysis, equipment and line specifications, and preparing and evaluating bid packages.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Performing high-level research and analysis of data to determine the feasibility of design and application of equipment.
- Performing engineering calculations to size piping and valves and assisting in the development of PFDs and P&IDs.
- Working closely with the Process Engineering group to coordinate and develop P&IDs for Thermal-Fluid systems, including Cryogenic subsystems from concept to completion.
- Providing technical support and operations assistance to the Project Manager.
- Project Engineering experience in the natural gas industry, including the engineering, design, fabrication, commissioning of mechanical equipment used in petro-chemical or natural gas industries.
- Experience in LNG or other plant commissioning is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
- A BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- 3-10 years of related engineering and design experience in the natural gas and liquids production or oil and gas industry.
