As a District Manager, you can expect to inspire teams of territory and store managers responsible for building, owning, driving a sales and retention culture across the district to meet and exceed budgeted sales and revenue goals. Your efforts will positively impact your community by expanding customer access to Spectrum's leading services.

  • Building employee engagement and high performing teams by recruiting, training and retaining the best talent.
  • Mentoring Territory Managers and their teams. Managing, coaching, developing and motivating store management and their teams to achieve their performance objectives.
  • Communicating overall plans, strategy, and matrix requirements to leaders, monitors and evaluates results.
  • Creating an environment of continuous learning and development where employees can enhance their skills and maximize their potential through coaching, training and objective performance management.
  • You will be supported by experienced Directors in a performance-driven culture, training, and career development opportunities. This team is collaborative and inclusive, actively building each other up and celebrating each other's successes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 7 years of sales and customer service experience.
    • Background as a Director or District Manager in a destination shopping environment.
    • Experience launching and managing multiple retail locations.
    • History of identifying sales trends and risks, effectively communicating findings to leadership, and collaborating on response plans.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing status updates and achieving successful outcomes.
    • Demonstrated success in building a strong sales culture and high-performing teams with a solid customer orientation.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly and professionally.
    • Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees, customers, and suppliers in person, on the phone, and through written communication.
    • Analytical, statistical, and deduction skills for making qualitative judgments about training, education, and development resources.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively.
    • Proficient in designing and documenting processes and procedures.
    • High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and personal video platforms.
    • Proficiency in personal computer software applications.
    • Effective interpersonal, leadership, influencing, and presentation skills to build strategic partnerships across organizational levels.
    • Proven ability to adapt to change and lead change management initiatives.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Travel: Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle and ability to meet Charter's motor vehicle requirements
  • Abilities: Lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Schedule: Travel and flexibility to support store hours as business needs dictate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of sales culture and customer relations
  • 8 years of Management Experience
