- Assist in managing the maintenance of status for nonimmigrant employees, including travel arrangements, visa stamping (H1B, L1A, TN), and green card processes.
- Handle complex immigration matters such as L-1A, EB-1C cases, RFEs, and audits under supervision.
- Keep the executive team informed about changing immigration regulations and contribute to proposing effective solutions.
- Support the contract management process for vendor and client agreements, including initiation, negotiation, and renewal.
- Review and assist in finalizing negotiated clauses to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive contract playbook.
- Provide support to HR, Business Development Managers, and Talent Acquisition with contractual matters, immigration issues, and I-9 compliance.
- Assist in the selection and training of support specialists and help streamline standard processes.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, Legal Administration, or a related field; certifications in immigration law or contract management are a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of paralegal experience with exposure to immigration law and contract management preferred.
- Sound knowledge of nonimmigrant visa processes and immigration regulations.
- Familiarity with contractual legal frameworks and negotiation basics.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and research skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools, contract management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
