Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the shelter, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
- Provide support with intake processes and maintain accurate records.
- Offer guidance and resources to guests, helping them access essential services.
- Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and heard.
- Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to create an effective, compassionate shelter environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience of minimum 5 years in a Social Services setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Experience in social services, shelter work, or customer service is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
