As a Corporate Communications and PR Manager your responsibilities will be:
External Communication & Media Relations
- Develop and implement comprehensive external communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Create and edit high-quality, compelling content, including press releases, articles, speaking engagements, and social media posts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media advisories, and pitches to secure positive coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and create reports, providing insights to inform strategy.
- Assist in developing and executing crisis communication plans to protect and preserve the company’s reputation.
- Serve as a key resource in identifying risks, managing issues, and crafting timely, effective responses to crises and emergencies.
Brand & Campaigns
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all external communications.
- Partner with internal teams to align brand positioning with company objectives.
- Oversee the development and execution of multichannel campaigns to enhance brand awareness and reputation.
- Manage public website content strategy, updates, and optimization to reflect priorities and enhance user experience.
- Leverage creative and visual storytelling techniques to produce engaging content that resonates with key audiences.
Social Media
- Develop and execute social media strategies to amplify the company’s message and engage key audiences.
- Manage content calendars, monitor online conversations, and coordinate timely responses.
- Analyze performance metrics to measure and optimize the effectiveness of campaigns.
Public Affairs
- Monitor and engage with policy developments impacting the company and its industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with trade associations, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Develop messaging to support advocacy efforts and public policy initiatives.
- Leverage partnerships with nonprofits, industry organizations, and influencers to amplify CNG’s voice and impact.
Sustainability Communications
- Collaborate with the Sustainability team to highlight progress, initiatives, and goals, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader sustainability strategy.
- Lead the development, content creation, and promotion of the annual sustainability report, showcasing achievements and commitments to stakeholders.
- Develop compelling stories and multi-channel campaigns that demonstrate the company’s leadership in transparency, environmental stewardship, and circular economy practices.
A strong Corporate Communications and PR Manager will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in external or corporate communications, with expertise in public relations, media relations, and campaign management.
- Proficiency in PR tools (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater) and social media platforms.
- Proven ability to manage crisis communication efforts and develop messaging.
- Strong understanding of digital strategies and analytics.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
