Understands and can perform visual defects of productsUnderstands physical tests and equipmentKnows Functions of Production Line ComponentsUnderstand market segments (product families and industry types)Understand basic resinsCan look up and apply customer requirements and specificationsCan fill out paperwork and file appropriatelyUnderstands retain samples and filing requirementsMust be able to perform tasks effectively with minimal supervisionComply with all applicable Standards (BRCGS, ISO, IMS) and Standard Operating ProceduresCommunication and processing of nonconforming and scrap materialsComplete process audits and review process dataConduct internal calibration verificationsMaintain lab suppliesComplete corrective actionsUnderstands resin adjustments to obtain critical specificationUnderstanding of vision system operationOUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS :
Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activitiesFollows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processesCarry out job / area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalismLook for, report, and correct any near misses / unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possibleProduce quality materials to be distributed to customersMaintain production volume and efficiencyIdentify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better wayTroubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when neededOUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
Possess intermediate computer skills including Word and ExcelAbility to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc.Solid technical / mechanical aptitudePhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12- hour period. (Our lift limit is 65lbs)Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screenFocus on safety and quality productionStrong communication skillsPositive attitude and a willingness to learnPhysical Work and Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and / or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature / humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.Are our values a match for you?
