- Review and analyze forecast plan vs. budgeted capacity plan, making recommendations for emerging trends as needed.
- Identify and research service level risks based on forecasts for problem resolution and escalate to management as needed.
- Analyze customer order history and forecast data to provide safety stock level recommendations and adjusting when needed.
- Build and maintain KANBAN plan for Work In Progress from extrusion to finishing plants.
- Analyzes production schedules and provide recommendations for improvement and/or changes.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify trends to optimize inventory management.
- Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Backup to Master Scheduler and Scheduling Coordinators for day-to-day scheduling activities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years' experience in supply chain, demand planning, customer service, sales, or operations preferred
- Advanced planning & scheduling (APS), production & inventory control, forecasting experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision-making.
- Advanced MS Excel skills required.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
- Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
- Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
