POSITION SUMMARY
Charter Oak Health Center is seeking a Part time Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Operations:
- Safely transport prescriptions and medical products to patients' residences or designated facilities on a predetermined route and schedule.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented, obtaining necessary signatures to confirm receipt.
- Maintain the security and integrity of medications during transit, adhering to proper storage requirements, including temperature controls.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Perform basic vehicle upkeep, such as fueling, cleaning, and reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor promptly.
Patient Interaction:
- Provide courteous and professional service to patients during deliveries, addressing any immediate concerns and relaying information back to the pharmacy team as necessary.
- Collect payments from patients when required, ensuring accurate handling and delivery of funds to the pharmacy.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Comply with all traffic and safety regulations, as well as confidentiality standards related to patient information.
