Job Overview
This team member will work overnight to maintain the cleanliness and security of the hotel, maintaining great customer service and performing tasks like; preparing and setting up breakfast, answering phones, taking messages, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, taking out trash, cleaning restrooms, monitoring for security issues, and reporting any maintenance problems that arise during their shift, essentially acting as a security presence while cleaning after-hours.
Cleaning Duties:
- Dusting furniture and surfaces
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies
- Emptying trash cans and recycling bins
- Wiping down countertops and desks
- Spot cleaning spills
Security Responsibilities:
- Monitoring building access points
- Reporting suspicious activity or security breaches to General Manager
- Locking up doors and windows after hours
- Checking for potential fire hazards
- Responding to emergency situations as needed
General Tasks:
- Performing routine walk throughs of the facility
- Prepare and setup breakfast items for guest for morning
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies
- Adhering to cleaning schedules, procedures, and checklist
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the General Manager
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, primarily overnight
- Good communication skills to report issues
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Security: Ensuring the safety and security of a building or property during the night
- Patrolling: Regularly patrolling the building and grounds
- Monitoring: Access points of building
- Responding to incidents: Responding to emergencies and incidents by notifying the police, fire department, or other authorities
- Customer service: Providing information and hospitality to guests and visitors
- Maintaining logs: Keeping an accurate log of building and window checks, noting any security issues
- Communicating with law enforcement: Working with the local police department and contacting them with any concerns that may occur during overnight hours
- Adhering to protocols: Following security protocols and adhering to written directions

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
