Lake, Sumter, and/or Marion Counties

Position Overview

PRN Healthcare Professionals are needed to provide daily and/or overnight monitoring of patient(s) residing in an Assisted Living Facility (ALF) who are enrolled in a clinical trial study on agitation. The PRN Healthcare Professional will collect and record vital signs, perform phlebotomy procedures, and complete basic agitation assessments. This is a short-term project and individuals will be needed for daytime and/or overnight shifts at ALF’s in Lake, Marion, and/or Sumter Counties.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or other medical licensure or certification is required.
• Prior experience working with patients with Alzheimer’s Disease, or working with patients within an Assisted Living Facility is preferred.
