What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Area Attendant position at Charter Road Hospitality?

We are looking to someone who can work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sundays.
Public Are Attendant Job Description
· Check outside grounds
* This includes walking the parking lot and removing any trash
· Empty outside trash receptacles
· Empty smokers’ posts in front and back of hotel
*Trash can tops should be wiped down after removing bag
· Empty trash in breakfast area, kitchen and lobby (to be completed once breakfast is finished)
· Once lobby has cleared, all tables and seats should be wiped down. Move furniture and vacuum.
· Use window cleaner to clean front, side, and back entrance doors
· Clean and refresh the Guest Business Center area
*Wipe down desk and tables. Stock printer paper if needed.
· Clean public bathrooms
*Restock tissue, hygiene products, soaps and paper towel dispensers
· Once hotel has cleared and foot traffic has slowed, sweep and mop lobby and hallway floors on lower level. (Make sure to use wet floor signs and do not remove until completely dry)
· Clean and refresh the Guest Fitness Center
*Wipe equipment, glass doors and mirrors. Restock towels. Dust weights and stand. Clean PTAC filters before sweeping and damp mopping room.
· Clean Guest Laundry room
· Dust behind machines
· Wipe down walls and floorboards
· Dust/clean lint boxes on the wall.
*Clear any spilled detergent in washers and lint in dryers and empty trash before sweeping and mopping (ensure to get behind machines).
· Empty trash receptacles on every floor landing
· Clean elevator doors and inside of elevators
· *Use stainless steel cleaner on rag and remove black marks and smudges
*Sweep and mop elevator floors. Make sure to use wet floor signs
· Empty trash in employee break room before sweeping and mopping.
· Ice machine needs to be cleaned daily by spraying a stainless-steel cleaner on your rag.
· Vacuum stairwells and remove debris
· Once housekeeping has finished for the day, vacuum all floors and ensure all debris is picked up. Empty housekeeping closet trash cans
*If trash cans by elevators are full again, please empty during this process
· Once all trash is collected, empty large can from Laundry room
· Ensure all floors have dried, then remove wet floor signs and place back on cart.
· Check outside trash receptacles again and empty if needed
· Put away all used materials before stocking and straightening cart. Ensure cart is stored properly in laundry room closet.
*Property Laundry Room
· Dust grates and area behaving washing machines
· Dust under washing machines
· Dust behind Dryers
· Wipe down walls and floorboards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
