What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician - Licensed position at CharterCARE Health Partners?
Summary: Performs a variety of duties to maintain smooth operations of electrical services in the
Hospital. Duties will be performed in accordance with all local, State, and Federal codes.
Duties include, but not limited to, working on Power Distribution panels, individual circuits and machinery. Employee will work under the direction of the Engineering Site Manager or his designee.
Assignments will be given daily. Snow removal may be required.
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Licensure: Journeyman Electrician License.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Licensed Journeyman Electrician.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
- Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in all phases of electrical installations.
- Ability to utilize sound interpersonal skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers.
- Maintains information confidential (HIPAA)
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to responsive customer service skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers
- Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams.
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 30 lbs.
