What are the responsibilities and job description for the HIM ASSOCIATE position at CharterCARE Health Partners?
Summary : Compile, process, control and maintain medical records (all media forms) of all patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the healthcare system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and standards. Assist in all duties within the HIM department to maintain operational needs.
Education : High School Diploma required. An Associate Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred.
Experience : 1-2 year experience in Health Information Management a plus. Ability to utilize a variety of software applications.
