- SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $15,000 **
geriatric patients who are referred; Evaluates the Physical Therapy needs of the patient; Develops goals and treatment plan in conjunction with the patient and family/significant other; Implements treatment program; Provides education to patients, families and caregivers; Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants, students and support staff in compliance with hospital and state regulatory policies.
Education: Bachelor of Science, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from a Physical Therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Licensure: License and/or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist from the Department of Health, Division of Professional Regulation, State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. BLS Required.
Experience: One year experience preferred.

- Physical Therapy theory, patient assessment and treatment techniques; task analysis; ability to develop a therapeutic relationship with a variety of patients
- Skills in organization, time management and priority setting.
- Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with peers and other disciplines.
- Ability to utilize sound interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and demonstrating sensitivity to age, spiritual and cultural diversity of customers.
- Ability to instruct patients and their families
