Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospital's philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice. The registered nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for judgment and actions, maintains clinical competency and exercises informed judgment in delegating nursing care to others. The Registered Nurse promotes patient, family and staff learning.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School, BSN preferred.
Licensure: Current Rhode Island RN licensure required. BLS/ACLS required
Experience: 2 years of previous hospital experience required.
