What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Chartiers Center Inc?
Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, third party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program.
As an Administrative Assistant in the Janus Program with Chartiers Center, you would be responsible for assisting with data entry for an Adult Mental Health Supportive Program.
Job duties include:
- Data entry and data tracking in the Electronic Heath Record and additional databases.
- Obtaining Medicaid pre-authorizations and completing weekly insurance eligibility checks.
- Answering phones and communicating with team members and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Taking minutes during team meetings.
- Creating purchase orders.
- Tracking receipts and vehicle mileage logs.
- Working at the front desk
- Positive attitude and flexibility
Qualifications include:
- Diploma from Accredited Secretarial/Business School and four (4) years’ experience OR High School diploma and five (5) years’ experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Knowledge and use of general office equipment, ability to manage tasks simultaneously, ability to work independently, and experience with billing and data entry required.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to exhibit the high level of confidentiality when working with landlords, contractors and individual serviced.
- Strong Organization skills
