POLICE OFFICER
Chartiers Township
Qualified persons are invited to apply to Chartiers Township
to take competitive examinations leading to eligibility for
appointment as a Full-Time Police Officer for the
Chartiers Township Police Department .
Minimum requirements : Age 21, High School Diploma,
Valid PA Driver's License, and be Act 120 certified
prior to the appointment date.
Successful applicants must also meet all the requirements
of the township's hiring policy that will include a background
investigation, and if selected, be required to successfully pass
a physical and psychological examination.
An application package including the application form, township's physical agility requirements (waiver form) may be obtained at the Chartiers Township Municipal Center,
located at 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston, PA 15342 or www.chartierstwp.com . Applications will be emailed upon
request. A completed application, with a $35.00 non-refundable application fee, must be filed before 12 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Municipal Center address, as noted above.
The written and agility testing will be conducted at the Chartiers-Houston High School located at 2050 West Pike Street Houston, PA 15342 on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 9 a.m. All applicants will report to the track
located behind the school.
