We are hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Information Technology Project Manager to support a federal government customer. This position is contingent upon project funding.

Here's what you'll do :

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects
• Serve as the single point of contact for these projects and act as the SME Project Manager under the Senior Program Manager and Government project manager leads
• Plan project stages, define project scope and objectives, and initiate, manage, and monitor progress to meet deadlines, standards, and cost targets
• Assess business implications for each stage of the projects, taking them from the original concept through final implementation
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Conduct project meetings and be responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, computer services, and client services at all audience levels, from the user to the Commanding General
• Lead, guide, and provide technical and analytical guidance while liaising between business and technical aspects of projects to the project team and technical staff
• Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks, track, and review vendor deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards of project deliverables
