Location: New York City based. 3-4 days/wk working in-office at the client-site. Other days will be remote.
Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Designer to support one of our clients to shape the visual identity of their exciting arts and culture app. You’ll play a key role in crafting the marketing and brand experience—creating striking visuals across campaigns, social, editorial, and beyond. While you won’t be designing the app itself, your work will define how it’s seen and experienced in the world.This role is for a meticulous craftsperson—someone with a sharp eye for detail, a deep love for design, and the work ethic to match. You’ll bring concepts to life, refine the smallest details, and push creative boundaries, ensuring every touchpoint feels considered, beautiful, and purpose-driven.You should also be comfortable developing ideas from scratch and seeing them through to execution. Expect to work across branding, campaigns, motion, and digital storytelling—helping to evolve and elevate the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing high-quality visuals across marketing, campaigns, social, editorial, and brand touchpoints.
- Bringing conceptual thinking to projects, from initial ideas to polished execution.
- Maintaining and evolving a consistent visual identity for the brand.
- Collaborating with writers, strategists, and other creatives to produce compelling work.
- Ensuring pixel-perfect execution with a keen eye for typography, composition, and craft.
- Staying ahead of design and culture trends to push the brand forward.
- 5 years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing work.
- A refined aesthetic and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to think conceptually as well as execute with precision.
- Experience designing for arts, culture, or editorial brands is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CC and Figma. Motion tools are a bonus.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to take ownership of projects.
