About the Role
As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in helping members achieve their homeownership goals. You will originate mortgage loans, accurately and efficiently completing loan applications and cross-selling credit union products.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate mortgage loans with members or potential members.
- Gather necessary documents and assemble loan files.
- Issue preliminary disclosures and prepare loan applications for processing.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Real Estate industry, home purchase market, and life cycle.
- Knowledgeable of mortgage program guidelines for credit union-approved mortgage loan products.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
