Communications Strategist

Chartwell Agency is seeking a Communications Specialist/Strategist to join its amazing team of professionals. The chosen candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and develop, coordinate, and direct client initiatives with the firm’s trademark can-do attitude.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker who is not afraid to jump in and support a variety of marketing and public relations projects. The right person will be responsible for managing or assisting with client accounts and will be responsible for building relationships, achieving results, and offering thoughtful counsel. In exchange, the ideal candidate will benefit from a supportive, collaborative, and creative team environment in which his/her skills will be valued and continuously expanded. Experience in areas including strategic planning, content development, social media, creative campaigns, ad buys (traditional and digital), and proactive media relations at a local, regional, and national level are a top priority.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, high-energy, and articulate individual capable of setting and meeting focused results and managing multiple deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, and familiarity with print, web, and other digital mediums are a must. Candidates should have 2 years of internships and/or marketing or public relations experience. The salary and title of the candidate will be determined by the experience which s/he brings to the table.
