Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and hotel standards.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the evening shift.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Work efficiently in a team environment to ensure timely food service.
- Monitor food quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
- Assist with inventory management and proper rotation of ingredients.
- Follow all safety and health regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
