Successful applicants will have exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills and licensed in NY. Preferably licensed in CT as well.Primary duties include : File review and legal analysis of claims and causes of actionExtensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefsAnnual billable amount of 1950 hours requiredRegularly representing clients in court, at arbitrations and in depositionsDrafting and responding to discovery requestsExpert witness retention and collaborationTrial preparation and attendanceSome travel may be requiredRequirements : 3 years’ experience in General Liability, Insurance Defense Litigation experience a plusJ.D. degree from an ABA-approved law schoolAdmitted to practice in the state of NY, CT a plus but not requiredSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid research abilities and written and oral communication skillsStrong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work in a team environmentMust respond promptly to e-mail and phone inquiriesExcellent client skills and telephone mannerBenefits Include : Innovative financial incentive bonus program that rewards entrepreneurial initiativeProactive support and training for marketing objectivesExcellent Benefits including 401k matchExceptional growth and advancement opportunitiesSalary range : $85,000 - $130,000Department : General LiabilityThis is a full time position#J-18808-Ljbffr
