Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

Job Summary
Working as the Interim Culinary Operations Support Director you will be responsible for assisting in training initiatives, food programs, special events, account openings and refreshes with account Chef’s and team members.
** INTERIM POSITION: Feb 17, 2025 - August 1, 2025 **
** This position will require 60% travel **
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Procurement optimization and efficiencies for Texas A & M University
- New business opening support
- Drive key customer business success by consulting with the customer on all aspects of culinary operations by using on-site visits, customer data analysis and established industry standards by using culinary and operations
- Expertise to provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop kitchen/operations assessment for customers; utilize other members of the team to build action plans to address short and long-term opportunities from the front of the house and back of the house. Deliver conclusions that assist the customer in achieving business goals.
- Identifies and recommends areas of continuous improvement for products, processes, procedures that support the menu and benefit unit level economics.
- Provide reporting to measure impact of culinary activities for tracking, key performance indicators, customer follow up and case studies
- Coordinate product cuttings and showcases including ordering product, creating collateral and follow ups as needed for team members
- Schedule and coordinate Business Reviews/Showcases with manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit all work materials upon completion for final editing and review
- Timely response to all correspondences within the department and all outside business related correspondences
- Daily and weekly updates on status of projects and tasks
- Timeliness and responsiveness at all scheduled meetings and appointments
- Participation in Development of Culinary Programs and Projects
- Administrate daily updates to the Department’s Social Media Accounts
- Assist in all administrative duties related to the department
- Represent the Culinary Development Department and Company in a professional manner at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree preferred or three to five years of cooking experience in the hospitality field
- Current ServSafe certification a plus
- Working knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office and Social Media a must
- Self-starter, innovative and ability to multitask
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive work attitude
- Schedule flexibility based on department needs
- Vehicle for transportation required for this position
