Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time, Onsite K-12 School Dietitian for a potential new account in the Fort Walton Beach area in Florida. This role will assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition & sustainability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages food allergies and medical conditions, including developing and implementing food allergey protocols, creating special diets for students, and communicating with parents, students and nurses.
- Develop and provide associate training and leads food allergy & program compliance
- Collaborate with chefs in strategic purchasing initiatives, and the technical nutritional review of ingredients, recipes & menus
- Build and implement student centered nutrition education programs in the district schools and for the community
- Provides leadership for operations and support teams with media & nutrition communications
- Assists in menu planning and recipe and ingredient management in our proprietary menu management software
- Conducts internal audits and monitors district compliance with USDA requirements for school breakfast and lunch programs
- Works with the vast number of dietitians within Chartwells K12 to assist in the development in a variety of programs, including sustainability, taste testing, discovery kitchen, mood boost program and much more!
