Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field required with a minimum of 5 years' experience in database administration and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices required. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Nutanix) required. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure preferred. Experience with health information technologies, HIPAA, and security methodologies preferred.
Preferred experience includes : Microsoft training and certification; experience programming OLAP with MDX; as well as knowledge of SQL Server 2019 and Microsoft Azure. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator) are a plus as well as scripting and automation skills.
Excellent logical and problem-solving abilities, verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment, contribute to a team, maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate very high attention to detail, and a commitment to quality while working in a high availability environment is required. Physical Demands
