Base Salary Range : $121,000 - 188,514 USD annually.
Salary is determined based on applicable experience and education. External offers typically do not exceed the mid-point of the pay range.

The CHAS Street medicine team works on the streets, in shelters and encampments to care for people experiencing homelessness to meet their needs on their terms. We are the largest street medicine team in Washington state. Street med clinical teams are small and nimble but have the support of the rest of the CHAS system including RN's, community health workers, pharmacy, behavioral health, and case managers. We collaborate with homeless serving organizations and emergency services to meet the needs of the community.
Purpose of Job :
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing primary medical services at CHAS clinics in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations of the CHAS Board of Directors and administration as follows :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Qualifications :
Education / Experience : Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant school. Valid licensure in Washington state required. Board Certified or Eligible. Able to apply for prescriptive privileges.
Skills : Effective oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required. BLS (CPR / AED) required. Valid drivers' license and insurance required.
Physical Demands :
Providers must be able to move around the facility between 1 / 3rd and 2 / 3rds of the day, as well as sit at a workstation or in patient rooms. Using hands occurs over 2 / 3rds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than 1 / 3rd of the day. Communicating is also required over 2 / 3rds of the day, while climbing, stooping or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs occurs about half the time, while up to and above 25 lbs occurs only occasionally.
