Chase Design Group is currently seeking a talented Senior Design Director for the Los Angeles office. As part of the team, they will establish the conceptual and stylistic direction for design staff and orchestrate their work, as well as production support. The Senior Design Director works closely with Exec. Creative Director, Creative Director and / or lead creative along with clients, cultivating and maintaining these important relationships. This role should be held by someone who is highly creative and hands-on, has strong communication skills, exhibits great attention to detail, easily builds rapport with others and excels at managing and motivating team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex design projects across a variety of media, categories and brands
- Strategic thinker ensuring well thought out creative solutions
- Lead all phases of work including research, strategy, concept exploration, design development and finalization
- Craft and deliver strategically sound client-facing presentations
- Direct a diverse team of creatives (graphic designers, illustrators, motion designers, etc.)
- Experience in identity design, brand systems, packaging, understanding of print production, environmental design. Digital and motion design is a plus.
- A truly hands-on designer with the skillset to jump in and create with the team
- Adhere to project timelines, manage project scope and effectively communicate project
status to internal partners
