For those new to the pest control industry, we offer training in the field and in the classroom. Upon successful completion of the training, an individual must pass a state required exam for licensing purposes to continue working in our industry.
Job Title: Pest Control Technician
Duties:
- Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
- Develop and implement effective pest control strategies to eliminate pests
- Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments in accordance with safety guidelines and product labeling
- Seal off entry points and implement preventive measures to prevent future infestations
- Provide recommendations to property owners on sanitation practices and maintenance to prevent pest problems
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pests, their behavior, and effective control methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify the source of infestations and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Ability to safely handle and apply pesticides and other pest control products
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery for pest control activities
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and explain treatment plans
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough inspections and treatment applications
Benefits:
- Competitive pay based on experience: Advertised pay is for training period and guarunteed for the first year. Ultimately it is a production based pay program that will exceed this amount and there is no cap.

To be considered you must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record. If not, please do not continue with this process as the Texas Department of Agriculture ill not allow you to be a licensed technician. You must also have your own reliable transportation to and from our office.
