Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
shift: Monday- Thursday 3pm-1:30am
Location: Suwanee, GA 30024
Duties
- Operate laser cutting machines with precision to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, utilizing GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for accurate measurements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members in the assembly and welding processes as needed.
- Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machinery, including milling machines and lathes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with GD&T principles is highly desirable.
- Experience with milling machines, lathes, CNC machinery, welding, and fabrication processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
