A leading manufacturer and marketer of paper and board products is seeking a Customer Support Representative. This position is responsible for developing and nurturing customer relationships while creating awareness of the company’s full range of products and services. Individuals in this role are the front line for the company and work with a diverse audience to deliver the highest standard of customer support.
Job Duties:
- Maintain a marketing and sales-oriented knowledge of the company’s full product line.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to/from retailers, OEMs, distributor partners, and the general public.
- Consistently meet daily customer contact goals, communicating both over the phone and via email.
- Navigate Salesforce.com to look up customer information and complete or update account profiles.
- Communicate accurate product and sample information including specifications, inventory levels, availability, and pricing.
- Maintain a dedication to customer satisfaction by owning customer issues and seeing them through to resolution.
- Process marketing sample orders quickly and accurately.
- Support Marketing and Sales efforts through targeted calling campaigns for special promotions as needed.
- Assist the Regional Sales team by placing orders, qualifying customers, pulling reports, and supporting pre-sale opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a B2B customer service or sales support role
- Experience within an inbound and outbound call setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of dependability and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
- Energetic, goal-oriented self-starter
- Salesforce.com or JD Edwards experience is a plus
