Position Summary:
We are seeking a safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to join a metal manufacturing facility in Elk Grove Village. The ideal candidate will have experience operating overhead cranes to safely move heavy materials and assist in warehouse or production support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead crane to move, load, and position large steel coils or raw material
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections of crane equipment before use
- Follow proper rigging procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and organizing warehouse inventory
- Coordinate with machine operators and material handlers for efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- 1 years of recent overhead crane operation experience in an industrial or warehouse setting
- Must be comfortable working around heavy machinery and steel materials
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand throughout shift
- Steel-toe boots required
- Bilingual () a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
