What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Attendant/Cleaner 2nd shift position at Chase Staffing formerly Chase Professionals?
Must have 1-2 years of recent similar experience
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Background check and drug test required
Steel toes required
When company gets busy over-time may be required
Must be able to stand for 10 hour shifts
Normal hours are 430pm to finished (usually a 10 hour shift) may work occasional over-time as needed when the company is busy
16 per hour
Keep machinery clean and in an orderly condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Perform cleaning and upkeep of all machinery and equipment in the facility.
Report any damages or defects in the machines to the supervisor.
Keep a daily record of the maintenance work conducted on the machines.
Comply with the industry safety regulations.
Assist in the overhauling and other service functions of the machinery.
Effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines and targets.
Appropriately use cleaning tools and equipment for the upkeep of the machinery in the facility.
Keep work area clean and neat.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Apprenticeship program preferred.
Less than 1 year previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend.
