Machine Operator (Sheet Laser Operator) URGENT

Our client is seeking an experience machine operator

Must have reliable transportation to and from work

These positions are physically demanding and standing for entire shift

Monday-Thursday 530pm-4am

19.50 per hour

Drug test required

Responsibilities

Reading and comprehending instructions and follow established procedures

Running fiber laser / carbon dioxide laser and keeping the equipment in good working order.

Adjusting lasers as needed using controls (Is the machine cutting correctly?)

Cleaning Laser Bins and surrounding area as needed

QC checking parts for correct hole sizes, material thickness, ect.

Check parts against drawings

Keeping records of production quantities and time

Reporting on issues and defective parts

Skills

Good understanding of quality control principles

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition

Forklift certification is a plus!

Requirements

Able to stand 10 hours

Able to work in a warehouse that is not temperature-controlled

Able to lift / - 50 lbs.

Must be able to see details at close range

Proficient in English (bi-lingual is a plus!)

PPE Requirements

Safety Glasses – Provided by the company

Work gloves – Provided by the company

Hearing Protection –Provided by the company

Steel toe safety shoes
