Job – Software Developer
Location: Long Beach, CA – Onsite (onsite interview required)

Summary:
The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g., C#, C , HTML) to support business requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze highly complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, or related field) required.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in software development.
- Technical Skills:
- Development experience in languages such as C#, C , HTML, Python, JavaScript, SQL, MATLAB, MS Excel VBA.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end-to-end.
- Experience with iterative and agile SDLC processes.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, onboard diagnostics, and communication architectures (Automotive Knowledge).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, debugging, and testing procedures.
- Experience with operating systems, text editing software, and database programming.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects from conceptualization to implementation.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a multicultural environment and complex organizational structures.
- Analytical and Systems Engineering Knowledge:
- Experience or willingness to troubleshoot data-logger equipment and database systems.
- Analyze and evaluate problems, develop solutions, and identify root causes.

Typical Day in the Role:
- Coding: 90% of the role involves coding software tools and utilizing creativity.
- Meetings: 10% of the role involves meetings with the team and other departments.
Interaction with the Team:
- Contractor will be mentored initially to get up to speed with the team’s requirements.
- 5 hours of meetings per week with the team and other departments.
