Must have strong excel reporting skills (pivot table, if/and statements) and experience working with large datasets

-SQL/VBA a plus

Job Description

• The Credit & Price Risk Execution team directly supports Markets & Securities Services globally. Our goal is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business. Responsibilities include: Investigating and resolving Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk; Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting; Providing regular management updates and status reports; Participation in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks; Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
• Risk and Control is looking for a highly energized individual with knowledge of regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will support the Volcker program and requirements under the rule. The supplier will provide an SME resource with a strong background in the Regulatory space. Key Responsibilities include:

Required Skills

• 5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar remit
• Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes
• Must possess excellent written and communications skills and show comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology
• Strong investigation and problem solving skills
• Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently
• Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
• Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks
