S / 4 Hana Implementation is a MUST (this is the project they are working on implementing S / 4)Experience with the SAP all 5 modules : SD, MM, FICO, WM and Transport managementIf they have only SD, MM, WM that’s fineOr if they have only FICO and HCM that’s fineBut if they have all 5 even better!7 years minimum in ABAP development experience with some experience in lead rolesFiori is a plusMust have :BTP is Must - an integration layer for S / 4 HanaFiori is a must (they use the 2023 latest version is a plus but if they have 2021 that’s fine)ABAP developer on CloudS / 4 implementationCPI is plusOverview : The Principal (Lead) Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining in-house software applications or extensions to meet business requirements. This includes coding, integration of data between applications, testing, and completing technical documentation. The role adheres to best practices and development standards, focusing on software quality, innovation, and troubleshooting code issues. The Senior Developer will also mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities : Lead the design and development of complex software solutions, ensuring long-term sustainability.Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain software, including creating and executing test scripts.Manage technical aspects of projects, including scheduling, meetings, and coordination with stakeholders.Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on coding, best practices, and technical design.Research and evaluate new software / hardware solutions, making recommendations for improvements.Design and implement system landscapes that are architecturally compliant.Promote and maintain coding standards and best practices within the development team.Lead the development of process documentation, training materials, and business requirements.Drive process automation, business process redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in Agile teams and follow Agile delivery principles, such as openness, commitment, respect, courage, and focus.Oversee the work of third-party development teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.Provide coaching on process improvements and support the development of junior developers.Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.6 years of software / application development experience.Strong leadership and mentoring skills.Expertise in Agile development methodologies.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Experience in managing large technology projects and working with offshore teams.Familiarity with APIs, ESB, SAP PI, and integrating platforms.Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and lead technical teams.Preferred Qualifications : Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.Experience with wholesale / distribution / CPG environments.Experience directing offshore development teams and implementing process improvements.
