Position: Programmer 4/PR4 – ServiceNow Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: Contract - Hybrid

Job Overview:

A skilled ServiceNow Developer is sought to support and enhance the ServiceNow product. The selected candidate will focus on developing and maintaining custom solutions, workflows, and integrations. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, troubleshooting, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and maintain existing custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop solutions, including Service Catalog items, based on business requirements.
• Participate in requirements and design review sessions to deliver effective solutions.
• Design and implement business-driven solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications and platform-level functionalities.
• Utilize browser-based debugging tools (e.g., Chrome, IE, Firefox) and ServiceNow System Logs.
• Conduct demos for client stakeholders and gather actionable feedback.
• Work collaboratively in an Agile project management environment.
• Handle data conversion, including integration (real-time and batch), mapping, transformations, mass updates, and exception handling.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with ServiceNow Client and Server JavaScript coding (e.g., Catalog Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, UI Pages, JellyScripts).
• 5 years of experience with ServiceNow Client and Server Scripting APIs (e.g., GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, GlideAjax).
• 5 years of experience in building custom workflows on ServiceNow.
• 3 years of HTML, CSS, and AJAX development experience.
• 3 years of experience configuring and debugging role/group-based ACLs.
• 1 year of experience in Service Portal development (e.g., Widgets, Service Portal Pages, AngularJS).

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• ITIL V3 Foundations Certification.
• Experience in UX/UI design for ServiceNow applications.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including experience conducting meetings and work sessions.
• Proven ability to design and deliver solutions that align with business needs.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and processes to resolve platform and application issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
