We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a safe and engaging environment. This role requires a compassionate individual who can manage daily activities, meal preparation, and maintain a clean living space while ensuring the well-being of the children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and nap time routines.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by tidying up play areas and cleaning up after meals.
- Assist with homework or educational activities as needed, fostering a love for learning.
- Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit readily available.
Skills
- Proven experience in babysitting or working in daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of child development principles and ability to educate children through play.
- Experience caring for children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for children.
- Ability to perform basic first aid and CPR if required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently while maintaining cleanliness.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
