Job Title: Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny

Position Overview:
Chasing Connections LLC is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated and experienced full-time live-in housekeeper/nanny to join a young family welcoming their first baby, due late August to early September. We are seeking a reliable professional with a strong background in newborn care to support the family in establishing routines and ensuring a smooth transition into parenthood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for the newborn, including feeding, bathing, and soothing once the baby arrives.
- Cover night shifts during the first two weeks to help the family establish a good schedule for the baby. During the day you would sleep and then help prepare dinner at the start of the night shift while baby care. Maybe meal prep so the parent can heat it.
- Educate and guide the parents on essential newborn care practices, including proper bathing techniques, diapering, and the application of skincare products.
- Before the baby's arrival, assist with housekeeping tasks, laundry, and meal preparation for the parents to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition.
- Maintain a clean and organized household, which includes regular cleaning and tidying up.
- Communicate effectively with the parents regarding the baby’s needs and milestones.
- Assist with travel and provide care for the baby while traveling throughout the year.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in childcare and housekeeping.
- Proven expertise with newborns, including establishing routines and schedules.
- Legal to work in the U.S. and eligible to travel in and out of the country.
- Applicants must be 28 years or older.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a desire to become an integral part of the family.
- A hardworking, reliable, and flexible individual who is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment.
