Chasing Gravity Activity Center is a dynamic and engaging gymnastics, dance, and ninja program offering classes for children ages 18 months to adults. We focus on creating a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters confidence, coordination, and a love for movement. We are currently seeking a Preschool Gymnastics Director to lead and develop our growing program for children ages 18 months to 5 years.
Job Overview
As the Preschool Gymnastics Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our preschool gymnastics and ninja programs, including curriculum development, staff training, and class management. You will play a key role in creating an exciting and engaging environment that helps young children develop foundational movement skills while having fun!
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development: Design and implement a structured, age-appropriate gymnastics and ninja curriculum for preschool-aged children.
- Class Management: Ensure classes are fun, safe, and engaging while fostering skill progression and social-emotional development.
- Staff Training & Supervision: Train and mentor coaches to deliver high-quality instruction in alignment with program goals.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate with parents to provide progress updates and ensure a positive experience.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Assist with scheduling classes, managing enrollment, and maintaining proper coach-to-student ratios.
- Event Planning: Organize preschool gymnastics-related events, including showcases, camps, and special activities.
- Facility & Equipment Oversight: Ensure the preschool gymnastics area is clean, organized, and properly equipped for safe use.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with young children and creating a fun, engaging learning environment.
- Early child education required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to train and mentor coaches effectively.
- Background in gymnastics, ninja, movement education, or early childhood development preferred.
