What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician/Assistant Dog Trainer position at Chasing Life Dog Training?
We are looking for fun, energetic, positive, and reliable kennel staff! We are currently seeking employees that can work both weekdays and weekends. Scheduled shifts would be durning open hours of 7am-11pm, some shifts could be split shifts but mostly evening shifts between 2pm-midnight. Some overnights may be offered. We are looking for individuals that are hard-working, dedicated, and team oriented.

Are you someone who might enjoy:
- Feeding dogs and maintaining adequate water levels in all pails and dishes
- General dog grooming
- Scooping the yards and keeping them clean
- Spending time outdoors working in the yards observing dog behavior
- Assisting with dogs daily including: overseeing play groups, rotating play groups, retrieving and placing dogs in their kennels, etc.
- General cleaning duties such as: sweeping/mopping, keeping the kennel rooms clean, washing dog bowls, washing/drying/folding towels and blankets, loading and emptying the dishwasher, etc.
- Keeping our furry friends happy and providing plenty of TLC while remaining focused and reinforcing good manners

Desire to work with dogs and learn dog behaviors
Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Aptitude to multitask and problem solve
2 years of working with dogs, training experience preferred but not required.
