Full Job Description
Seeking a Shipping/Production Associate to lead shipping department and with closely with production. The right person for this role will be comfortable on their feet (they’ll be standing/walking for at least 90% the time), eager to assist whenever extra help is needed, and passionate about providing quality results with a positive can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
SHIPPING
- Prepare packaging for shipping finished goods
- Navigate through shipping app and accurately input shipment data based on sales order data and shipping information.
- Prepare necessary forms such as packing labels, packing slips per sales order requirements
- Collaborate with office manager to optimize shipping schedules and prioritize sales orders
- Assist production with packaging and shipping for pertinent customers special projects as needed
PRODUCTION
- Record incoming receiving and in-process data into computer via Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Print production labels corresponding to in-process sales order(s).
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in a manufacturing environment; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred.
- Must be able to work well within a team.
- Ability to read, follow instructions, and work independently with minimum guidance and supervision.
- Ability to stand, walk for extended periods; lift heavy items
- Ability to operate computers and relevant computer software. Microsoft Office knowledge a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (with OT and potential weekends)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
