The Residence Life Staff is present both during and outside of office hours, making them an essential part of assisting Management in applying the lease rules and regulations consistently to ensure the quiet enjoyment of the premises by all residents.
Operations Coordinator Job Description:
The Operations Coordinator (OC) is an essential part of the Residence Life team. Reporting to the Director of Residence Life, the OC is responsible for supervising the Community Assistants and Front Desk staff, while working to foster a sense of community within Collegiate Village and maintain an atmosphere conducive to personal well-being and learning. In doing so, the OC also handles the administrative and operations aspects of the office. The duties of the OC include, but are not limited to:
· Lead and participate in trainings for the Residence Life Staff.
· Have knowledge of the Residence Life job descriptions and handbooks.
· Lead staff meetings, providing up to date information regarding CV while developing staff both personally and professionally, conducting ongoing evaluation of performance.
· Assist with Key System: organizing system, creating keys for incoming/transferring residents, replacing lost keys, and programming property. Computer and Technological knowledge is preferred as the key system is computer based.
· Assist in maintaining supplies and vendor relationships, ordering and contacting as needed.
· Work closely with Maintenance Department to ensure the property is always in excellent condition.
· Responsible for room inspection process and charges.
· Be well-informed of Collegiate Village policies, procedures and regulations while being able to communicate and enforce them.
· Respond to student questions, emergencies, problems and concerns.
· Act as a positive role model for residents and staff.
· Participate in all relevant staff trainings and mandatory events, such as CV Open House and Move in Days.
· Assist in developing and executing marketing ideas and strategy adjustments.
· Assist in developing and implementing strategies to turn inquiries into completed leases.
· Work with leasing team to monitor changes in local industry to identify opportunities for marketing and outreach adjustments.
· Work with leasing team to analyze trends, using these to create solutions and execute these solutions.
· Assist in development and execution of Lease Renewal process.
· Night and weekend availability is required during peak seasons.
· 40 hours per week.
· Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Residence Life.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (required). Enjoy working as part of a team, hardworking, open-minded, good natured, and likes to laugh.
Compensation: Hourly wage of $22.00 and participation in company benefit package.
