What are the responsibilities and job description for the LEGAL ASSISTANT position at Chason & Chason, P.C>?
Bay Minette, Alabama - Local firm with an open position for a Legal Assistant (non-remote work) that can work in a pleasant, fast paced, detail oriented environment.
Legal Assistant will need to provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys by managing case files, scheduling appointments, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, communicating with clients, and preparing materials for court proceedings.
Experience preferred, but not required. Salary range begins at $35k and cap depends upon experience and skill set.
Skill set with Word Perfect, Excel, Trial Director, Worldox, and Word a plus.
Full Time Hours - Monday through Friday 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
40 hours of paid vacation after 1 year / 80 hours after 2 years.
10 set paid holidays per year.
BCBS of Alabama Insurance not provided by employer, but available at employee cost with two plans to choose from.
