Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care during specialized procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Assume responsibility for several patients throughout designated time frames.
- Prioritize and organize patient flow to maximize efficiency and time utilization.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow nursing staff, other departments, and Medical Staff to maintain professional relationships and foster teamwork.
- Adhere strictly to the policies and procedures of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
- Be available for on-call duties with a required response time of 30 minutes.
- Proficient in reading and writing English to accurately manage physician's orders.
- Capability to assist in moving patients and equipment exceeding 100 pounds with the support of team members.
- Strong understanding of cardiac medications and arrhythmias.
- Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with sterile procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to listen, empathize, and respond to the needs of patients, families, and colleagues.
- Willingness to wear protective gear due to exposure to ionizing radiation, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
- An Associate degree in Nursing is required.
- A current RN license in Florida is mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year of acute care experience is required; 1 year of critical care experience is preferred.
- Candidates with 3 years of experience in ICU, ED, or CC are also welcomed.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary range of \(24 - \)37 per hour based on experience, with maximum compensation for those with 15 years of expertise.
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 with a commitment of two years.
- Limited relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.
- Shift differentials of $4.50 for night shifts only.
- Standard work shifts are Monday to Friday, day shift (approximately 8 AM to 5 PM), with no weekend shifts required.
- Availability for on-call duties is essential.
