Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured schedule primarily consisting of Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours a week, with the potential for weekend shifts during holiday periods.
- Engage in a comprehensive preceptorship that entails three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend, in alignment with the preceptor's shift schedule.
- Attend all required training sessions and activities throughout the program.
- Collaborate with a mentor to integrate into the professional nursing culture and enhance your nursing competencies.
- Complete an evidence-based poster presentation to further develop your research skills.
- Demonstrate strong communication abilities and a self-motivated mindset.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for patient care, ensuring a compassionate approach to nursing.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment within a healthcare setting.
- Must be a recent graduate of an accredited nursing program within the last 12 months.
- Restricted to no more than 6 months of RN experience, ideally possessing less than 2 months in a hospital setting.
- A valid Florida RN license is required prior to the commencement of the program, or appropriate compact licensure with an active Florida RN license required within 90 days of hire.

Compensation And Benefits
- Salary Range:
- Med/Surg & PCU: $29.81 per hour
- ICU: $30.94 per hour
- Specialty: $32.79 per hour
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 with a two-year commitment.
- Relocation assistance provided on a case-by-case basis for out-of-state applicants.
- Opportunities to achieve key certifications including BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules.
