Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to a structured schedule predominantly from Monday to Friday, committing to 40 hours per week, with potential weekend shifts during holiday periods.
- Engage in a preceptorship comprising three 12-hour shifts weekly, including every other weekend, tailored to the preceptor’s schedule.
- Achieve essential certifications such as BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules.
- Participate in all scheduled program activities, as attendance is mandatory.
- Commit to a minimum two-year full-time employment agreement with the hospital, with possible financial obligations should the commitment not be fulfilled.
- Collaborate with a designated mentor to facilitate integration into the nursing culture and maximize professional development.
- Attend resident seminars following a core curriculum and contribute to the completion of an evidence-based poster presentation.
- Acquire essential skills to function as a Charge Nurse and Preceptor.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
- Previous experience in the medical or service industry is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program within the last 12 months.
- Limited RN experience, ideally no more than 6 months, with a preference for candidates having less than 2 months of hospital experience.
- Must possess a current FL RN license prior to the commencement of the program, or appropriate compact licensure; candidates with compact licensure must secure an active FL RN license within 90 days of hire.
- Candidates who exhibit a genuine passion for patient care are highly preferred.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary range:
- Med/Surg & PCU: $29.81 per hour
- ICU: $30.94 per hour
- Specialty: $32.79 per hour
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 upon completing a two-year commitment.
- Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis for out-of-state candidates.
