Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive training schedule comprising a Monday through Friday, 8-hour workday totaling 40 hours per week, with potential weekend shifts during holiday periods.
- Engage in a preceptorship phase consisting of three 12-hour shifts weekly, following the schedule of the assigned preceptor.
- Complete mandatory training and achieve essential certifications, including BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules.
- Attend all program-related activities as participation is critical for successful completion.
- Commit to a minimum of two years of full-time service in the hospital, with the understanding that residents may need to reimburse a portion of educational costs if this commitment is not honored.
- Benefit from mentorship, attend seminars aimed at professional growth, and participate in the development of an evidence-based poster presentation.
- Acquire essential leadership skills, including Charge Nurse and Preceptor capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation are essential for success.
- Prior medical or service industry experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for patient care and nursing excellence is highly valued.
- A recent graduate from an accredited nursing school within the past year.
- No more than 6 months of RN experience, ideally with less than 2 months in a hospital setting.
- Active Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure is required prior to the start of the program.

- Relocation assistance considered on a case-by-case basis for out-of-state candidates.

- ICU: $30.94
- Specialty: $32.79
- Rates may be increased for candidates with relevant previous experience as LPN, CNA, or EMT.
