Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to the established training schedule, including an initial Monday through Friday, 8-hour workweek.
- Participate in the preceptorship phase, which encompasses three 12-hour shifts weekly and every other weekend, following the preceptor's schedule.
- Complete mandatory certifications, including BLS, ACLS, CPI, EKG, NIH Stroke Scale, and Meditech Modules.
- Attend all program components, ensuring full participation in training and seminars.
- Collaborate with mentors and preceptors to acquire hands-on nursing experience across diverse units.
- Engage in the completion of an evidence-based poster presentation and develop skills to become a Charge Nurse and Preceptor.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and dedicated to patient care.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing school within the past year.
- No more than 6 months of RN experience, ideally less than 2 months in a hospital setting and no more than 6 months in nursing home or home health care.
- Current Florida RN license or the appropriate compact licensure required prior to the commencement of the program.
- Previous experience in a medical or service industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary range based on specialty:
- Med/Surg & PCU: $29.81 per hour
- ICU: $30.94 per hour
- Specialty: $32.79 per hour
- Sign-on bonus of $10,000 upon successful completion of training/preceptorship with a two-year commitment.
- Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis for out-of-state candidates.
